It sounds like an epic trip. I visited places like Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, and Ushuaia. Have a great time!

I can confirm the high costs in Australia. From 2015 to 2018, I had the opportunity to visit Sydney and Melbourne. Even then, the prices were way higher than here in Eastern Europe. I remember I paid AUD 50 for pizza with salmon, while for the price in Sofia, I could get a good steak.

Matt Barries' write-up on Australia is genuinely phenomenal. Unfortunately, this is the current path for the Western World. Going full Zimbabwe and total commie seems the new "normal."

Thanks for the comment Mihail, enjoy your writing, & your recent podcast episode on KK ๐Ÿ‘.

Yes, when I was a kid (didn't realise at the time), Sydney and Melbourne were two of the nicest cities in the world, period. Our government is doing its best to destroy that...

Are you Bulgarian? I spent some time in Bulgaria when I was a young lad, about 23. I went to 'Buzladsza' (I spelt that wrong), the giant UFO building in the mountains, it was like we were in a James Bond movie!

Yep, I am Bulgarian.

Buzludzha is one of those absurd monuments left as a legacy of socialism in Bulgaria. As you said, it resembles the headquarters of Bond villains at best.

Bulgaria has a rich cultural heritage. An illustrious example is the oldest processed gold in the world. According to various estimates, gold artifacts are 6,500 years old.

Those observations are valid for many European cities, too. From Naples to Stockholm, the chronic issues and systematic destruction of European values are apparent.
