Appreciate the diversity of content and your candidness in sharing the ups & downs. There's also nice nostalgia/escapism reading about your life, as I roamed Latin America for months at a time when I was a seasonal wildland firefighter 10+ years ago.

Being a nomad is not easy but it sure is wonderful. After a number of years, I happily traded that for a family and am thrilled to be building towards extended travel abroad with them - perhaps the best version of being a nomad, in my own view.

Keep living the dream, and keep up the good work!

Thanks for the kind words Devin! Firefighter would have been a wild gig.

Yes, I 100% want a family/base/home somewhere, but just not quite yet, and enjoying slowly figuring it out (next 2 years focus is on making money online).

If I stay with this girl (hopefully I do!) we have plans to setup in Baja Sur as a base in the future. And I have the same goals as you, be able to travel with my family one day (which is why making money is the main focus for the next few years 😂).

Give us a shout if you're ever in Mexico.

Cheers Dheeraj - I usually spend 5 to 10 minutes here and there randomly throughout the month, when I feel introspective or motivated haha. Then throw it all together on the last day.

Not sure if you need these or not, but here are some rabbit holes you can explore as part of your internationalization efforts:

1) Palau ID

https://rns.id/

Palau’s digital residency program is designed with digital workers and businesses in mind, offering a range of practical benefits. The program makes it financially attractive for online companies by not charging any tax on their profits. For remote workers, such as freelancers, a significant plus is not having to pay taxes on money they earn outside of Palau. This can mean significant savings for those who work internationally. The program also allows people to stay longer in Palau, which is excellent for those seeking extended residence options. There’s even a chance to get multiple passports through this program, which is a significant advantage for those who travel or do business internationally.

2) Labuan Company

https://www.labuanfsa.gov.my/areas-of-business/labuan-structures/labuan-companies

Labuan is an island that is part of Malaysia. Setting up an offshore Labuan company offers several benefits including no tax on foreign sourced income and access to Singapore banks such as UOB. Also, because it is part of Malaysia, you get the benefit of double-taxation agreements signed between Malaysia and many countries, including Australia.

This is awesome, thanks! It's bloody overwhelming on knowing where to start when you research all this...

I think I will pick up the Palau 10 year residency for 2 grand later this year, just as a back-pocket residency 🤔

Tom I wrote a post that you (and your audience) may find useful. It's about breaking tax ties with your home country.
